About Baier Technik
Baier Technik GmbH & Co KG is an Austrian systems partner for cable assembly, electromechanical assembly manufacturing and control cabinet construction. Founded in 1998 in Eugendorf, the company manufactures complex cable assemblies and cable harnesses in series directly from customer drawings, even without complete bills of materials, and relies on series-capable, reproducible production and testing processes. The range of services includes core marking and cable printing up to 6 mm² (Metzner Triathlon), labelling systems with cable markers made of PVC and stainless steel, partially assembled or complete assembly manufacturing, as well as system manufacturing of complex assemblies and large-scale systems including set-up, test runs, optimization and final acceptance. The portfolio is complemented by control cabinet construction and planning, electrical engineering and industrial wiring, and since 2016 the design, sales, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, PV carports, PV fences, battery storage systems, wallboxes and balcony power plants. As a system supplier, Baier Technik also takes on complete supplier and supply chain management. The group employs more than 170 staff at locations in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Germany on more than 5,000 m² of production space.

History
- 1998
Baier Technik founded by Helmut Baier in Eugendorf with 3 employees; primarily assembly of cables and cable harnesses.
- 2002
Relocation to Neumarkt am Wallersee in the Pfongau industrial park (1,200 m² production and 300 m² office space); awarded as "Supplier of the Year".
- 2003
Certification according to EN ISO 9001:2008 by TÜV Austria; expansion of the product portfolio to include control cabinet construction.
- 2007
Construction of a second production hall; expansion of production space by 1,100 m².
- 2016
Start of design and sales of photovoltaic systems including subsidy processing.
- 2019
Acquisition of the companies Kabel-Tech s.r.o. (Czech Republic) and Kabeltechnika Hungaria Kft. (Hungary).
- 2020
Move of the Czech colleagues to a new industrial building with 1,500 m² of production space in Znojmo.
