About Baitella AG (FISSO)
Baitella AG with the FISSO brand is a Zurich-based manufacturer of articulated arms, holding systems and customized OEM solutions. Founded in 1960, the company has been supplying customers in medical technology, industrial automation, metrology and machine integration, as well as in the photo, video and optics sector, for over 50 years. The products are characterized by a patented central locking mechanism that allows all joints to be quickly and reproducibly locked with a single clamping button – for cameras, sensors, measuring devices and medical equipment. Products are manufactured in Swiss-made quality from stainless steel, steel and light metal; medical arm and body supports feature anatomically shaped viscoelastic padding. In addition to a broad standard range, FISSO develops customer-specific OEM projects and offers worldwide distribution including technical support. In 2024 a subsidiary was founded in the USA, and in 2026 the FISSO Patient Positioning System was introduced. The company is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified and employs around 50 staff.
