About BAKO Schmiedekunst
BAKO Schmiedekunst is a blacksmith workshop based in Xanten on the Lower Rhine, specialising in wrought-iron work for home and garden. The range includes gates, fences and grilles as well as custom-made window grilles, rose pavilions, rose arches, old-town lanterns, garden benches, amphorae and greenhouses. The products are made as one-off pieces and custom-made unique items, with the workshop emphasising the value of genuine craftsmanship over mass-produced goods. In addition to production in its own workshop, BAKO Schmiedekunst offers on-site installation at the customer's premises; installation jobs are frequently carried out in the mornings. Selected works are displayed in the showroom in Xanten, where customers receive advice on the personal design of their home and garden.
