About the Baldegger Group
The Baldegger Group is a family business founded in Oberuzwil in 1960 and now run by the third generation. It is the official representative of the brands Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Citroën, DS Automobiles and, under the alphaCARS brand, of Dongfeng, Voyah and M-Hero in Eastern Switzerland. Its range of services includes the sale of new, demonstration and used vehicles, repair and servicing according to the Volvo Personal Service concept, parts & accessories, paint and body shop, sheet-metal work, vehicle detailing, tuning (Polestar Optimisation, HEICO Sportiv, Baldegger Exclusive Cars) as well as a tyre hotel, replacement vehicles and a pick-up & delivery service. In 2020, certification as a high-voltage centre in Eastern Switzerland was completed; work on batteries of hybrid and fully electric vehicles may be carried out there. In Oberuzwil, the company also operates a test drive and handover centre for the alphaCARS brands. There are three locations: St. Gallen (Volvo/Polestar), Wil (Volvo/Lynk & Co, workshop & body shop) and Oberuzwil (Citroën/DS, alphaCARS, workshop, high-voltage centre).
