Balliu machine tool corporation, based in Lokeren, Belgium, develops and manufactures industrial laser machines for a broad range of applications: laser cutting (2D, 3D and 5-axis, sheet metal and tube), laser welding including hybrid processes combined with MIG/MAG, laser cladding with local hardening, laser ablation, laser marking, and tube laser machines with optionally combined (friction) drilling/flow drilling. The portfolio also includes machines for sheet cutting (electro sheet, composite sheet, thin sheet), pillow plate welding, robotics and automation solutions, as well as fully custom special machines including tailored clamping fixtures, rotary chucks, and palletising and loading/unloading systems. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium, copper, plastics, rubber and wood; sheet processing is possible up to 2000 x 6000 x 20 mm with workpiece weights up to 2400 kg, and tube lengths up to 6000 mm. The machines are used, among others, in the automotive industry, aerospace, medical technology, toolmaking and industrial manufacturing. Balliu is a member of the Ogepar Group, exports around 90 percent of its machines worldwide to all continents and supports its customers with training, commissioning and 24/7 service.

Laser Cladding
