About Balluff
Balluff is a family company founded in 1921 in Neuhausen a.d.F., today managed in its fourth generation, with around 3,700 employees and group revenue of 501 million euros (2025). The company manufactures and develops sensor and automation solutions: inductive, capacitive, optoelectronic and magnetostrictive sensors, RFID systems, machine vision cameras, IO-Link network modules, connectivity technology, power supplies as well as software and IIoT solutions such as condition monitoring and predictive maintenance. Manufacturing and development take place at seven production sites worldwide, in Germany at the Neuhausen, Viernheim and Munich locations, which act as competence centers for optical and (magneto-)inductive sensor technology, capacitive sensors and optoelectronic measuring systems respectively. Neuhausen is also the company headquarters, the distribution center for the EMEA region and the site of a new 24,000 m² building constructed from 2024. Through more than 38 subsidiaries, Balluff serves customers in over 60 countries in industries such as automation technology, machine tool building, Industrial IoT and hydraulics.
