About Bals Elektrotechnik
Bals Elektrotechnik is an independent, medium-sized family company headquartered in Kirchhundem-Albaum (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company manufactures standardised industrial plugs and connectors to IEC 309 1-2 as well as connector systems, distribution units and system components for electromobility. Manufacturing is fully integrated: from product development and design through in-house toolmaking to production, assembly and shipping. Materials processed include plastics such as polyamide, polycarbonate and PBT as well as solid rubber special compounds and copper contacts, using injection moulding and assembly processes; toolmaking employs CNC and conventional machining machines. In Freiwalde (Brandenburg), CEE connectors are manufactured fully automatically, and the plant in Kirchhundem-Würdinghausen, completed in 2021, produces and stores products for electromobility. Customers come from industry and plant engineering, construction, event technology, electrical wholesale, as well as planning offices, municipalities and installers; the export share exceeds 50 percent, and products are sold in more than 80 countries.
