About the Balthasar Group
Founded in 1939, Balthasar is a Swiss family business in its third generation, headquartered in Hochdorf in the canton of Lucerne. Its core competence is the manufacture of high-quality candles; every year around 7'000 tonnes of candles leave the production facility in Hochdorf. In addition to candle production, the company with around 80 employees produces and markets personal care and cosmetic products as well as household products. The Balthasar Group distributes its own house brands such as Finito, Flaman, Elite and Farmlight as well as distribution brands in the bodycare segment.
