Family business in the fifth generation
Balthasar Göbel & Sohn GmbH is a family-run vehicle and body building company from Aschaffenburg that can look back on more than 120 years of vehicle manufacturing and is today run by the fifth generation. The company manufactures and mounts swap systems for BDF demountable container vehicles (Hydralifter, Airlifter, Mechaniklifter, Hublifter, Volumenlifter, Standardlifter), trailers and semi-trailers such as turntable and tandem trailers as well as Air-Cargo Trailers, containers in sizes 10 to 40 feet, lift containers and emergency vehicles for fire brigades, THW, civil protection and defence. Manufacturing is predominantly in steel construction with welded chassis structures; the surfaces are hot-dip galvanized, KTL-coated (zinc-phosphated), powder-coated or painted. In addition, the around 60 employees offer design, custom builds as well as a repair and spare parts service with over 3,000 spare parts in stock. More than 500 vehicles are delivered annually, including more than 600 assembled BDF demountable container vehicles per year.
