About balticFuelCells
balticFuelCells GmbH, headquartered in Schwerin, develops and produces fuel cells and fuel cell components based on PEM technology. The portfolio includes membrane electrode assemblies (MEA/CCM), gas diffusion electrodes, liquid-cooled PEM stacks with power outputs from 40 W to 1,000 W, subsystems (SuSy) and fully integrated systems such as the 19"-rack-mountable fuel cell system Electrum with 1,000 W rated power. In addition, the company manufactures and sells the quickCONNECTfixture (qCf) test cell systems for the electrochemical characterization of fuel cells and electrolysis cells, including high-pressure electrolysis test cells for up to 50 bar and short-stack test systems. Development ranges from cell-internal design through electronics and product design to the complete overall system, supported by proprietary simulation software. The company manufactures prototypes and small series, works closely with research institutions such as the Fraunhofer Institutes and supplies, among others, automotive customers as well as applications in electric mobility, home energy, emergency power supply, aerospace and offshore.
