Manufactory for leather in industry and technology
Founded in 1875 in Reutlingen, Bantlin GmbH is a belt-making manufactory and one of the last manufacturers in Germany to offer core-leather round belts produced using the wet-stretching technique. The company processes chrome-tanned and vegetable-tanned leathers such as cowhide, buffalo and kangaroo leather as well as polyamide/chrome-split combinations and rubber fabric into round belts, flat belts and technical custom-made products such as coupling sleeves, brake linings, sealing rings and guide plates for printing presses. In addition, Bantlin manufactures custom contract work such as keder and pleat tapes for the automotive industry, PVC wedge strips for screen manufacturers in the paper industry, as well as interior design and furnishing objects. Repair and reassembly of transmission belts and conveyor belts in southern Germany round off the offering. The products are made predominantly by hand in Reutlingen from carefully selected raw materials of European origin.
