Baosteel Lasertechnik GmbH is a company founded in 1984 in the Ravensburg region, specializing in the development and manufacture of laser systems. The system engineering portfolio covers laser welding, laser cutting and ablation as well as material and component handling, automation, assembly and quality control. A key focus is on systems for Tailored Blanks, including 1D and 2D Tailored Blanks, Door Ring, aluminium and stainless steel blanks as well as Tailored Profiles and Tailored Welded Coils. Further product areas are hotforming and ablation systems, patchwork solutions, strip welding systems and Tailored Orbitals. Based on the experience gained from delivering more than 200 laser systems worldwide, the company develops customized system concepts, among others for sheet metal processing and automotive suppliers. In 2025 the company received the BSFZ seal for research and development.
