Baosteel Lasertechnik GmbH, based in Ravensburg, is a systems manufacturer for industrial laser applications. Since 1984, the company has developed and produced manufacturing systems, in particular for laser welding and laser cutting as well as ablation, material and component handling, automation, assembly and quality control. Drawing on experience from the delivery of more than 200 laser systems worldwide, the company develops customised system concepts for customers, particularly from the automotive industry and sheet metal processing. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel and aluminium. In 2025, the company received the BSFZ seal for research and development.
