About Barcomi's
Barcomi's was founded in 1994 by Cynthia Barcomi Friedman as a café with coffee roastery at Bergmannstraße 21 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The company offers American baked specialties, roasted coffee beans, catering, custom cakes and baking classes. Its customers include, among others, the gourmet department of the Kaufhaus des Westens (KaDeWe), the Hotel Madison on Friedrichstraße, the Hotel Adlon at the Brandenburg Gate and the Vitra Design Museum. In 1997, the second, larger café Barcomi's Deli opened in the Sophie-Gips-Höfe in Berlin-Mitte, which was closed in June 2020 due to the Corona pandemic. In 2009, the company together with daughter Esmé founded Cynthia Barcomi Kitchenware, under which self-designed baking molds, kitchen utensils and an apron collection are sold via the company's own online shop, selected kitchen specialty stores and shopping TV channels. The company is based in Berlin at its headquarters on Bergmannstraße.
