About Bareiss
Bareiss Prüfgerätebau GmbH is a family-owned manufacturer of hardness and material testing devices headquartered in Oberdischingen (Baden-Württemberg). Founded in 1954 by Heinrich Bareiß, the company develops and manufactures Shore and IRHD hardness testers, test stands, universal testing devices, rheometers (RPA, MDR), testing devices for gel capsules and tablets, abrasion and rebound elasticity testers, automation solutions and related software. All products are developed, manufactured, calibrated and tested at the headquarters. The company also operates a DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for the measurand hardness and offers calibration, maintenance, 3Q qualification, contract testing and seminars. The testing devices are used in laboratories, incoming goods inspection and production, among others in the plastics and elastomer industry, pharmaceutical industry, food sector, rubber and tire industry, medical technology and paper production. Branches exist in Canada, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan; customers in over 80 countries are supplied.
