BARGE INGENIEURE is an engineering consultancy for technical equipment and special systems based in Hamburg with a second office in Wilhelmshaven. The sole proprietorship, founded in 1965 and led by Dipl.-Ing. Torsten Barge (Consulting Engineer VBI), provides consulting, analysis, planning, controlling and construction supervision services for all disciplines of electrical engineering and safety technology as well as conveying and special systems. Special fields include specialist electrical engineering and power systems planning, elevator technology, electromagnetic room shielding and high-frequency absorber halls (EMC test chambers), special power supply systems for the navy, and mechanical-electronic security technology for correctional facilities. Further service areas include expert reports, safety concepts and risk analyses, energy concepts with renewable energies, photovoltaics, e-mobility and grid analyses, medical and laboratory technology, IT and telecommunications systems, lighting design, as well as digitalization and BIM. For highly technical objects, the remaining building services and automation trades as well as structural, civil engineering and structural analysis planning are also covered together with planning partners. The team of permanently employed planners, technical drafters, team assistants and administrative staff works at the beginning of the value chain and plans in particular for building and special systems.
