About Barnet Europe
Barnet Europe is the European site of the Barnet Group, a company founded in 1898 specializing in fibers, polymers, yarns and recycling. The company produces shortcut and staple fibers, recycled high-performance fibers as well as the patented antistatic yarns nega-stat® and floor-stat®. Production is carried out in various polymers, including polyester, polyamide 6, polyamide 6.6, acrylic (PAN), polypropylene and viscose. In addition to in-house production, the traditional trading of industrial, textile and technical yarns as well as recycling and upcycling of post-consumer and post-industrial waste are part of the core business. Customers are supported in developing individual solutions; an in-house test laboratory ensures regular quality controls and material testing. As of June 2026, the European site will be located at Graf-Zeppelin-Straße 3 in Eschweiler; the group is represented worldwide with sites in the USA, Belgium, the UK, China, South Korea and India and supplies customers in more than 70 countries.
