About Baron Papier

BARON PAPIER GmbH is an owner-managed company based in Kottenheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), specialising in the processing of paper, nonwovens and film. On a production and storage area of 4,200 m², modern cutting and rewinding machines produce Secare reels, narrow reels as well as packaging and jumbo reels; in addition, sheet cutting in small and large formats is performed. The service portfolio includes contract cutting, warehousing, converting work such as bale wrapping, labelling, perforation and special packaging, as well as logistics and transport tasks including storage and interim storage of customer-owned material. Through its paper wholesale business, the company supplies converters with jumbo reels between 0.5 and 24 tonnes made of food-grade and packaging papers, in cooperation with national and international paper mills; in addition, paper grades of all kinds are purchased, including residual lots and reject material. The range comprises around 17 paper grades from anti-slip and VCI paper to testliner, alongside nonwovens and film. Customers include, among others, the paper and cardboard industry, the packaging sector, the automotive industry, the food industry, print shops and metalworks. Since 2019, a photovoltaic system with 270 kWp has contributed to the energy supply.
