About Barth + Höpfinger

Barth+Höpfinger GmbH is a family-owned company in vessel and apparatus construction based in Niefern-Öschelbronn, Baden-Württemberg. Founded in 1912, the company with 25 employees manufactures pressure vessels, vacuum vessels, apparatuses, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, test systems and complete plants including pipework made of stainless steel and special materials, individually built to customer specifications. Production covers one-off items, prototypes and small series from less than 10 litres to approx. 10,000 litres of vessel volume, and apparatuses up to approx. 6 m in height and 5 t in weight, with pressures up to 600 bar and wall thicknesses of 1 to 15 mm. An in-house engineering and design office handles design and calculation in accordance with AD 2000, EN 13445, ASME and the Pressure Equipment Directive, as well as the preparation of CAD drawings, welding specifications and inspection plans. Customers include the chemical and petrochemical industry, environmental engineering, the food industry, filtration technology and electroplating, among them companies such as BASF, Bayer, Degussa, GEA and Linde. Acceptance testing in accordance with PED and ASME is carried out in-house.
