The Company
Barthmann Kunststoff Recycling GmbH was founded in 2001 and specializes in the processing of technical plastics. Single-variety plastic waste is shredded into high-quality regrind, regrind and semi-finished parts are upgraded into recyclate, and regranulate and compounds are produced. Residual raw materials from start-up processes, off-spec batches or returns are marketed directly back to the processing industry, partly using in-house plant development. The range of services includes milling, shredding with a rotor shear and single-shaft shredder, mixing in a 10-cbm mixing silo, composite separation, fiber pulverization as well as toll processing with toll milling, toll granulation and toll compounding. With its own logistics ranging from wire mesh boxes to 40-cbm roll-off containers, plastics are collected directly at the producer. Customized recycling concepts take economic and environmental aspects into account; product quality is certified annually in accordance with EfbV.
