About Bartholet Ropeways AG

Bartholet Ropeways AG, headquartered in Flums (CH), is an internationally active company for ropeway systems, mechanical engineering and lighting installations. The company plans and implements gondola lifts, chairlifts, aerial tramways (RopeTwin), funiculars, material ropeways, ski lifts, Telemix, group transportation systems and inclined lifts for tourism and urban mobility as well as for industrial applications. In addition, Bartholet offers contract manufacturing in mechanical engineering: CNC milling and CNC turning of large components, laser cutting and drilling as well as cold-bent steel profiles up to 7 m in length. Materials are steel and aluminium; welding is performed to EN 1090-2 EXC3 and EN ISO 3834-2. The depth of production is high, including in-house non-destructive testing (magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic and visual inspection) as well as maintenance, spare parts supply and training through the Bartholet Academy. Around 300 employees produce in eleven production halls at the Flums site; international project experience spans more than 20 countries from Europe to China and South America.
