About us
Basalt- und Betonwerk Eltersberg is an owner-managed, medium-sized family business from Buseck in Hesse with more than 60 years of experience. The core of the product range is concrete products of its own manufacture for road construction, civil engineering and landscaping: paving stones from designer and eco paving to permeable pavers, kerbstones and channels including precast gutters, as well as wall elements and natural stone products. Production uses modern machine technology based on locally sourced basalt aggregates and repeatedly washed river sands, which supports a good ecological balance through short transport routes. For heritage conservation, Eltersberg has developed products that give concrete stones a natural stone appearance and combine accessibility with heritage-appropriate design. The offering is complemented by its own backfill operation according to Hessian Backfill Directive Table 2 (landfill Grube Eltersberg) for uncontaminated excavated soil and pure concrete, as well as an exhibition covering more than 5000 m² with a barefoot park.
