BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH is the site operator of the Industrial Park Lausitz in Schwarzheide and offers companies an integrated ecosystem of infrastructure, services and engineering. Its range of services includes the planning and construction of industrial and chemical plants including permit management, as well as the fabrication and maintenance of apparatus such as reactors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and columns based on supplied manufacturing documentation. Material selection takes pressure, temperature and corrosion protection into account; corrosion-resistant piping is made of Hastelloy or lined with PTFE. The portfolio is complemented by thermal hazardous waste incineration in rotary kilns with wastewater-free flue gas cleaning, industrial wastewater treatment (approx. 2.2 million m³/year), energy supply with 200 t/h steam capacity, combined heat and power, a 24 MWp solar park and a 6 MWh battery storage system, grid operation, logistics, site security with a plant fire brigade, as well as process optimization and scalable miniplant systems for scale-up. Target industries are the chemical industry, circular economy, battery materials, the semiconductor industry, hydrogen and pharmaceuticals. Over 60 companies with more than 4,000 employees work at the 290 ha site.
