About BASS
BASS GmbH, based in Niederstetten, has been developing, manufacturing and distributing high-precision tools for industrial internal thread machining for over 75 years. The product range includes thread taps, thread formers for chipless machining with a standard program up to M64, thread milling cutters for all thread types and sizes, thread turning inserts for synchronised machining, and modular thread milling systems for large threads. The high-precision tools are manufactured on CNC-controlled multi-axis grinding machines; an in-house salt bath hardening plant is used to specifically tailor the tool properties. Customers come from the automotive and aerospace industries, mechanical engineering and medical technology. Since 2019, BASS has been part of the OSG Group. In addition to the catalogue with over 3,000 products, the company offers a web shop, customer seminars and application engineering consultancy.
