The bastian industrial handling GmbH, based in Zweibrücken, was founded in 1991 and operates as a privately owned outsourcing partner to industry. The company handles quality inspection, assembly, manufacturing, logistics and packaging for industrial enterprises – from incoming goods inspection through one-hundred-percent final inspection and sorting to subassembly assembly in small and large series. The portfolio also includes supply chain management, warehouse solutions, procurement, intralogistics and parts picking. In toolmaking, metal parts, jigs and fixtures as well as small and sample series are machined; the company also offers CNC bending of seamless hydraulic tubes and tube forming. With its own ProfiLift product line, the company manufactures lifting equipment Made in Germany, complemented by driverless transport systems (Global AGV), custom-made cooling technology and CompactLift storage systems. On at least 24,000 m² of production, warehouse and logistics space in Zweibrücken, 65 employees work in two-shift operation; the QM system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV Saarland).
