About Bastians Kunststoff

Bastians Kunststoff GmbH & Co KG is a family business founded in 1971 in Bünde that manufactures custom plastic parts using the injection moulding process. The parts portfolio includes caps, lids, spouts, canisters, furniture corner protectors, dispenser pumps, packaging articles and speciality items such as dog dental care bones and pet food trays for the pet supplies sector. Reinforced and non-reinforced materials such as PP, PE, PA, PC, ABS and PS are processed, along with special starch blends and fully biodegradable materials for packaging applications. Production is carried out on 13 Arburg plastic injection moulding machines with clamping forces of 250 to 2000 kN; modern removal robots enable fully automatic production, and during peak demand also 24-hour operation. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers technical support for tool and article optimisation, small conventional toolmaking, assembly of sub-assemblies, warehousing and delivery with its own vehicle fleet. Customers include companies from the packaging, pet supplies, furniture and hygiene industries.
