About Bastl Boards

Bastl Boards is a family business founded in 2008 in Leipzig, specializing in the development and manufacture of longboards. The range comprises seven different decks – Walzer, Bolero, Discofox, Forró, Hustle, Kizomba and a minicruiser (Lipsi) – for dancing, freestyle, freeride and downhill. The decks are made using a bamboo-fiberglass-carbon construction, and the deck veneer consists of ash wood veneer and may vary. According to the company, prototyping and the further development of new shapes and constructions are part of the brand philosophy; to this end, Bastl continuously works with team riders from the rider community worldwide as well as with local artists who design the deck graphics. The company pursues a quality-over-quantity philosophy in production.
