About Bathan AG
Bathan AG develops and distributes ceramic high-performance lubricants that have been continuously further developed for over 20 years — originally started as a research project. Under pressure, the millions of microscopic ceramic particles form a thin, stable protective layer on the bearing surfaces, reducing friction, lubricant consumption (according to the manufacturer, by up to 95–98 %) and wear, and extending bearing service life by a factor of 5 to 10. Fields of application include the pelleting of wood and biomass pellets, the animal feed industry, agricultural and construction machinery, hammer mills, rail vehicles and ships, industrial plants, and wind energy. For food-related applications, the lubricants are NSF H1-certified and MOSH/MOAH-free. The products are in use in over 80 pellet plants worldwide. In addition, the company offers savings potential analyses, practical tests in customer plants, training, technical support, and a spare parts service with over 10,000 components.
