About Batimat
Founded in 1978 by Josef Mikl and headquartered in Salzburg, Batimat Isoliertechnik GmbH carries out insulation and thermal insulation work for technical objects in plant engineering. The service portfolio comprises heat, cold, sound and fire protection for tanks, vessels and pipework, PUR/PIR in-situ foam spraying, pre-insulated pipes using the Spirorohr system, cleanroom technology, tank refurbishment and industrial services including dry ice, wet sand and soda blasting. Projects are managed as turnkey solutions: from consulting, engineering and project management through material supply and prefabrication of metal elements in the company's own workshops to installation and supervision. All common insulation materials are processed, such as PUR and PIR rigid foam, phenolic resin, aerogels, mineral wool, Foamglas or cork; stainless steel, aluminium and galvanized sheet metal are used as cladding. Core markets are the food and beverage industry as well as the chemical and petrochemical industries. The Batimat Group includes international subsidiaries, among others in Germany, Poland, Brazil, China and the USA.

Batimat works with its own and external monitoring of foam quality and is represented in national and international expert associations (VÖDU, Fördergemeinschaft Dämmtechnik e. V., FESI).
