Bau-Fritz GmbH & Co. KG, based in Erkheim (Bavaria), plans and manufactures individually designed timber prefabricated homes – single-family homes, multi-family homes as well as projects in existing buildings and renovations. The family business, founded in 1896, combines ecological construction methods, building biology expertise and energy-efficient building concepts with modern architecture. Production uses timber and natural, pollutant-tested materials; the prefabricated components are pre-fabricated at the factory and assembled on site – also as a turnkey home construction including construction management. Baufritz supports customers from building-biological site analysis through financing handling and architectural planning to customer service. In addition, the company develops energy concepts with photovoltaics, heat pumps, geothermal energy, solar systems, fuel cells and pellet heating, as well as a proprietary, virtually flicker-free, mercury-free LED health lighting system.
