About Baubot
Baubot is an Austrian company based in Vienna that develops and deploys mobile robotics for the construction industry. The company was founded in 2017 as Printstones with a focus on on-site concrete 3D printing for block paving structures and, from 2018 onward, developed mobile robotic systems for the construction site. At its core is the fischer BauBot, a mobile fastening robot that creates drilled holes in concrete fully automatically and sets fischer fastening solutions such as anchors. Mission planning is BIM-driven; sensors, lidar safety zones and collision detection enable operation even in dynamic construction site environments. Fields of application include tunnel, bridge, civil and structural engineering, refurbishment and production halls, referenced among others in the Koralm Tunnel and Engelberg Tunnel. In addition, Baubot offers consulting, workshops, pilot projects, technical studies as well as transport and logistics for the robotic systems.
