Bauer Kompressoren develops and produces high-pressure and medium-pressure compressors for air and gases up to 500 bar and 500 kW; for hydrogen applications up to 900 bar. The portfolio includes breathing air compressors for diving, fire brigades and civil protection, industrial compressors including air and gas treatment, nitrogen generators, gas drying, gas measurement systems as well as CNG and biogas refuelling station systems. Another field is gas internal pressure injection moulding (GIT), for which Bauer develops control, booster and nitrogen generation systems together with injection moulding machine manufacturers. Screw and compressor blocks are manufactured at the subsidiary Uniccomp GmbH in Geretsried; the headquarters with development and production is located in Munich. Founded in 1946, the family-owned company is owner-managed in its third generation, achieves an export share of around 90 % and produces around 40,000 compressors per year. With 22 subsidiaries, 15 branch offices and a network of around 350 sales partners and 600 service centres, the group is represented worldwide.
