BAUER + MÜCK GmbH, based in Berlin, has been developing and manufacturing innovative laser processing machines since 1994. Initially active in the field of industrial laser applications, the focus shifted to solutions for laser personalization of documents such as ID-1 cards and ID-3 passports. The company develops all know-how as well as hardware and software in-house, allowing its systems to be tailored precisely to customers' requirements. The product portfolio includes personalization machines, machines for industrial laser marking and laser engraving, visual inspection systems, and custom special solutions, including security features such as LASINK™ Origin, LASINK™ Helios, laser perforation, CLI/MLI/SLI®, steganography and micro-/nano-text. An in-house R&D laboratory enables material investigations and the development of new processes. Customers come from document security, security printing, card and passport personalization, electronics (laser trimming of SMD components), automotive, and government authorities worldwide.
