About BAUER
Bauer und Co. GmbH is a master electrician business based in Lödla (Altenburger Land), founded in 1931 and now run by the third generation. In its own control cabinet construction department, the company manufactures custom control cabinets and switchgear assemblies for commercial and industrial customers, including circuit diagram creation, CAD design, software development and wiring to DIN and VDE standards. In addition to automation, the service portfolio includes photovoltaics (planning, installation, grid connection), electrical installation, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing installation, as well as building automation and measurement and control (MSR) technology. A central control system has enabled fault analysis and troubleshooting via remote access since 1993; service and maintenance services including a 24-hour emergency breakdown service round off the offering. The company also manufactures switchgear assemblies internationally, with documented projects in Brazil, France and Russia. Since 2020, Bauer und Co. GmbH has been part of the SOJKA Group, a network of five automation companies with more than 100 employees at five locations.
