Expertise from a single source

BAUMANN/GLAS/1886 GmbH is an Austrian family business in its fourth generation, specialising in custom constructions made of glass, aluminium and wood. The portfolio includes glass facades, glass roofs, conservatories, panoramic glazing, patio roofs, louver windows, fire protection and flood protection systems as well as structural glazing and industrial glazing. Planning takes place in the in-house technical office on a CAD basis; production runs predominantly at the company's own PALMHAUS® plant in Baumgartenberg, complemented by an own sheet metal fabrication with a fiber laser cutting machine and press brake as well as element production with a final assembly hall. Value creation also includes installation, logistics with an own vehicle fleet and service. Customers come from project construction, office and commercial buildings, hotels and gastronomy, retail, car dealerships, spas and pools, as well as cultural and transport buildings. Well-known references include the renovation of the Vienna Palm House at Schönbrunn (20,000 m² of aluminium special constructions), the 17,000 m² facade of the Fronius site in Sattledt, the 13,000 m² facade of Techbase Linz, and the award-winning valley station of the Schafberg Railway. The company installs more than 20,000 m² of area per year and has been EMAS III certified for years.
