Baumechanisierung Dresden GmbH has been manufacturing vehicle bodies for commercial vehicles of all classes and manufacturers since 1990. The product portfolio includes loading crane bodies (including with HIAB and Effer cranes), roll-off tippers, hooklift tippers up to the 32-tonne class, truck-mounted forklifts, tippers, flatbeds, box bodies, curtain-sided bodies, volume combinations, plateau ramp vehicles, hot-dip galvanized BDF swap-body systems and special-purpose bodies. The bodies are designed with a focus on stability, lightweight construction and optimized product economics; flatbed substructures are made of hot-dip galvanized high-strength steel. In addition to new manufacturing, the company offers inspections and maintenance, expert inspections according to UVV accident prevention regulations, repairs and accident damage restoration, spare parts sales, as well as rental and sale of construction hoist and rendering equipment. With around 50 employees at the Dresden and Calau sites, BMD works with commercial vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, and universities in Dresden in the field of commercial vehicle technology.
