baumeister & schack GmbH & Co. KG is a manufacturer specialising in linear drive systems, based in Balingen at the foot of the Swabian Alb. Founded in 1980, the company develops and manufactures telescopic lifting columns, linear guide lifting columns, inliners, DC drives, controls as well as mechanical accessories such as wall brackets, mounting plates, profile adapters, T-slot nuts and foot brackets. It began with developments for the automotive and medical technology sectors, from which a broad portfolio emerged that is used primarily in industry and the medical sector. In addition to further industries such as vehicle construction, furniture, media technology, agriculture and ergonomics, the company offers customised special solutions (tailor-made) and supplies products from ready-to-install individual parts to complete systems. Production and assembly take place on more than 3,000 m² at two sites within the town of Balingen; the materials used are mainly steel, aluminium and aluminium castings. Since 2020, baumeister & schack has been part of the Amer Group and is its foothold in Germany.
