Baumgartner AG Räder und Rollen has been active in the market for standardised and custom-made wheels and castors since 1947. The product range includes appliance and furniture castors, industrial castors, medical castors for medical devices, electrically conductive castors as well as wheels for forklifts and pallet trucks. In addition to the standard programme, the company develops OEM special solutions such as load and drive wheels, chassis parts and special heavy-duty castors according to customer requirements. The tyre materials range from elastic rubber (Wicke-ELASTIC®, 63–73 Shore A) and thermoplastic tyres (TPE, 90 Shore A) to polyurethane (TPU) and polyamide through to electrically conductive versions (≤ 10⁴). Housings and rims are made of stainless steel (Inox), aluminium, galvanised sheet steel, polyamide or polypropylene; cast wheels are available for high loads. Customers come from industry, metal construction, furniture manufacturing, healthcare and intralogistics.

TPE (thermoplastic tyre, 90 Shore A)
