About baumhueter extrusion

baumhueter extrusion GmbH, with its production site in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, manufactures technical fibers and plastic bands from polyolefins, in particular polypropylene. Originally founded as a rope-making business over 150 years ago, the company has specialized in the extrusion of polyolefins since the early 1960s and is one of the pioneers of this process technology in Germany. The products are sold under the registered trademarks PB STRAPPING® (plastic strapping bands) and PB EUROFIBER® (fiber products). Polypropylene strapping bands are used mainly in packaging and load securing for transport; the fibers are used as functional fibers in automotive components, filter media and cementitious building materials. The company operates an integrated management system in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 and supplies customers worldwide.
