About Baustoff Benkert
Baustoff- und Betonwerke Otto Benkert GmbH & Co. KG is a family company founded in 1946 and headquartered in Thüngersheim near Würzburg, specialising in the manufacture of building materials. The product range includes sand (crushed sand, pit sand), washed material in various gradings, crushed stone as well as ready-mixed concrete to DIN EN 206-1/DIN 1045-2, road concrete to TL Beton-StB 07, bored pile concrete to DIN EN 1536 and concrete with steel fibres. The rock to be processed, predominantly shell limestone, is quarried in the company's own quarries and processed in its own crushing plants. The company operates three plants in Lower Franconia (Rossbrunn, Güntersleben, Karlstadt) as well as its own administration in Thüngersheim and delivers sand, gravel, crushed stone and concrete to construction sites in the region on schedule. An in-house laboratory ensures product quality, complemented by a modern machine fleet.
