About KBH Maschinenbau
KBH Maschinenbau is the mechanical engineering division of Baustoffwerke Gebhart & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, based in Lachen (Bavaria), with around 150 employees at three production sites in southern Germany. At the Hetzlinshofen site, the company plans, engineers and manufactures special-purpose systems for the refinement of concrete products, in particular concrete paving stones. The product portfolio includes aging systems (stationary and mobile), shot blasting and water jet systems, curling systems with diamond brushes, grinding and calibration systems, splitters, coating systems, recycling systems (KBH Crusher), automated quality control (QC Imager), robotic and handling solutions, and the mould maintenance station FIRS. According to the company, the combination of stone manufacturer and machine builder is unique in this industry in Europe; the machines are used by concrete producers worldwide. With around 20 machine products, KBH covers process chains from mixing to surface refinement through to recycling, automation and quality assurance.
