Baustoffwerke Horst Dreher GmbH is part of the Dreher Group, an owner-managed group founded in 1962 with its head office in Bensheim. The group covers the entire value chain: from the extraction of sand & gravel raw materials totalling around 1.2 million tonnes per year, through raw material refinement, to the manufacture of sand-lime brick, industrial sand and ready-mixed concrete. At the Mörfelden ready-mixed concrete plant of Betonwerk Mörfelden GmbH, an extensive range of fresh concretes is produced under continuous quality assurance, including road concrete, steel fibre concrete and grit concrete. The industrial sand is characterised by a high quartz content, consistent grain structure and light colour, and is used in various product applications. Around 120 employees supply customers in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region, with deliveries also made using mini cranes and mortar sledges. The group includes, among others, Hessisches Bausteinwerk Dr. Blasberg GmbH & Co. KG, Raunheimer Quarzsand GmbH & Co. KG and other specialised companies.
