About bauteilnetz Deutschland

bauteilnetz Deutschland e.V. is a non-profit national association with its head office in Bremen, dedicated to the reuse of used building components in construction. The association operates a nationwide network of building component exchanges and component warehouses, including in Augsburg, Berlin/Brandenburg, Bremen, Gießen, Hannover and Herzogenrath, and provides an online building component catalogue in which used building components ranging from fittings, windows and radiators to doors and staircases and even fences are searchable. The offering includes consulting services such as the starter package with organisational consulting, start-up consulting for setting up warehouses, public relations, the building component catalogue and a members' forum, as well as workshops, an action guide for the circular economy in construction and energy balancing for used building components. The network was funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) over three years and was awarded the Werkbund Label in 2024. Target groups are craft businesses, demolition companies, municipalities, authorities and private builders.
