About Bauwerk Parkett
Bauwerk Parkett is a Swiss parquet manufacturer with its origins in mosaic parquet from 1935. The range comprises plank flooring, creative parquet with various installation patterns, formats and colours, strip parquet as well as mosaic parquet produced since 1935. Products are made predominantly from oak, with surface treatments such as natural oil finish, B-Protect® (matt sealant), B-Resist (hard-wearing surface treatment for heavily used areas), matt sealed or unfinished. The programme is complemented by accessories such as skirting boards, stairs, fillets and decorative strips, ventilation grilles and custom-made wooden items; various installation heights also allow the renovation of existing floors. Millions of square metres are installed globally every year. The floors are used in residential construction, Business & Public, Hotel & Gastronomy and Health & Social Care – including the Berlin Central Telegraph Office building, Casa Patio, Hotel zum Hirschen (Hirschengrün), Chez Olive and Dynamic Frame in Zurich. Distribution takes place via a network of its own Parquet Worlds (showrooms) in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and France as well as via installation partners, complemented by online consultation, digital tools (Parquet Finder, Parquet Visualizer) and an online shop for cleaning & care.
