BAV Baumaschinen- Abbruchtechnik- Vermietungs GmbH, based in Leisnig (Saxony), is a full-range supplier of construction machinery equipment. Founded in 2004 as a sales agency for excavator buckets, loading shovels and special steel structures, the product range today includes excavator buckets of all types, loading shovels, special attachment tools built to customer requirements, demolition tools such as hydraulic breakers, demolition shears, pulverizers and grapples, attachment milling machines, hydraulic grapples as well as dust and odour suppression systems for carrier machines with operating weights from 0.5 to 140 t. In-house manufacturing focuses mainly on wear and function parts for hydraulic breakers as well as special attachment tools made of S355 and wear-resistant steels (400/500 HB). The service portfolio includes repair and refurbishment of attachment tools, overhaul of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors, pumps and power units, mobile boring and welding technology for bearing seats with 30–400 mm inner diameter as well as final painting. Customer groups are construction and demolition companies, recycling operations, quarries, tunnelling, agricultural and forestry machinery as well as industrial plants. In addition to the sales of new and used equipment, the company operates a rental fleet with around 90 machines at its main base in Pirna.
