About BavarTec

BavarTec was founded in 2018 with the goal of making modern smart home technologies usable for existing and older buildings as well. The first product is Smart Thermo Control, a retrofit solution for app-controlled operation of older heating systems that are not yet internet-capable but are equipped with an outdoor temperature sensor. The products are integrated into the home network (Wi-Fi) and controlled via an app for iOS and Android. In manufacturing, the company adheres to the quality standards of the automotive industry; the products comply with the CE and RoHS directives. Only the data necessary for communication between device and app is transmitted. In addition, further applications are on offer or in development, including door closing and communication systems, roller shutter and curtain controls, and air conditioning controls. The company is based in Windorf in Lower Bavaria.
