About BMI Messzeuge
Bayerische Maßindustrie A. Keller GmbH (BMI) is a medium-sized, family-owned company with more than 60 years of history, headquartered in Hersbruck (Middle Franconia). There it manufactures measuring tools for trades, construction and industry: frame and housing tape measures, pocket tape measures, spirit levels made of aluminium, die-cast aluminium and hardwood, rulers made of beech wood, plastic, aluminium and stainless steel, workshop measuring instruments, try squares, measuring wheels as well as laser and levelling technology. The manufacturing process includes, among other things, ultrasonic welding of spirit level vials, laser-marked vials and profiles as well as CNC-machined aluminium housings. Tape measures are manufactured according to EC accuracy classes (e.g. class II: ±2.3 mm over 10 m) and can be calibrated for an additional charge; the calibration is valid in all EC member states. The product range is complemented by custom tape measures, promotional printing from 300 units and certificates of conformity. Distribution is through specialised retail, including catalogues and video product information.
