Bayerwald Holztechnik GmbH is a manufacturing company based in Wegscheid in Lower Bavaria, near the Austrian border, specialising in furniture manufacturing for caravan and yacht interiors. The company produces custom components through to complete interior concepts according to customer specifications – from 2D and 3D moulded parts to flaps and furniture fronts to the interior fitting-out of motorhomes and yachts. A bonding system specially developed for solid wood veneer, combined with a vacuum membrane press, allows the 3D forming of multiple veneer layers with lasting dimensional stability. For particularly stiff and pressure-resistant walls, ceilings and floors, a lightweight core made of pure natural fibres (hemp and flax) is used. In addition, the company offers contract work such as painting on a modern painting line as well as 5-axis CNC milling for wood and wood-based composites. In contract furniture, furniture is produced for nurseries, schools, hotels, clinics and office facilities. From the Wegscheid location, customers are supplied worldwide, including via just-in-time and just-in-sequence production.
