About BBC Bircher Automation
BBC Bircher Automation specializes in the engineering and manufacture of industrial control and switchgear cabinets. Each cabinet is created on the basis of a digital twin in EPLAN or EPLAN Pro Panel – from material planning through the 3D model of the mechanical layout to machine-based busbar production and wiring. Mechanical processing includes drilling center data, cutting of cable ducts and DIN rails, as well as the production of copper busbars; the internally developed application MIREAM is used for assembly. Production is carried out as series and single-unit manufacturing according to EU standards (CE) and UL 508A for the American market. In addition to cabinet manufacturing, the company offers hardware and software engineering, consulting, project planning as well as on-site installation and commissioning. Customers come from the automotive, chemical, food industry, mechanical engineering and industrial automation sectors and operate in more than 15 countries. Production takes place in Hranice, Czech Republic; headquarters and further functions are located in Beringen, Switzerland; the company belongs to the BBC Group (Behr Bircher Cellpack BBC AG, Villmergen).

The management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (SQS, Reg. No. H30322), and manufacturing and engineering are additionally qualified to UL 508A for the American market.
