BBQ-Systems GmbH develops and markets grill stations for shared-use areas in public spaces. The product portfolio includes the BBQ-Butler, a self-cleaning electric grill system for public parks, and the BBQ-Tower, a highly robust, compact electric grill with an enclosed grilling surface. Both systems operate emission-free on electric power, meaning neither sparks nor heat reach the turf, reducing the risk of area and forest fires. The grill stations can be reserved via a digital booking system using an app; operators use an operations tool to control operating hours, usage duration and user groups. On the BBQ-Butler, automatic self-cleaning with environmentally biodegradable cleaning agent takes care of hygiene. Target groups include municipalities, companies and operators of campsites and residential complexes. The system was tested and presented, among others, by Galileo.
